A show’s popularity can be easily measured by the number of years it lasts for. After giving us eight tremendous seasons over last eight years, I can say for sure that Bigg Boss is one of the most loved show across the length and breadth of the nation.
While Bigg Boss has been one of the major source of drama and entertainment for us over the years, it has also shone the spotlight on the contestants who garnered fame and name. One of the best examples of Bigg Boss’ role on contestants’ career is Sunny Leone’s shot to fame as she made a career out of her stint inside the Bigg Boss house.
Even in this season, Bigg Boss has put a few lesser known contestants on nation’s popularity map, giving their dwindling careers a major uplift. The following three according to me would benefit the most once they are out . Take a look…
Been in the television industry for nearly seven years now, and after starring in a series of flop soaps, Gautam Gulati‘s only shot to fame was Diya Aur Baati Hum, which gave him recognition. But after his stay at the Bigg Boss house, he has gained massive popularity and seems to be attracting a lot of attention from B-town as well.
Don’t be surprised if Gautam bags a movie soon. With a lot of TV actors like Karan Singh Grover and Gurmeet Choudhry getting into films after a lot of struggle, I think Bigg Boss might have helped Mr Gulati to sidestep those struggles of stardom.
After making a mark as a radio jockey in Red FM 93.5 and attaining fame with his flirtatious yet energetic voice over the radio waves, Bigg Boss 8 proved to be one of the stepping stones of his career as he successfully switched from radio to television.
Though he has played a negative role in the film Escape From Taliban, which went unnoticed, it was Pritam’s stint inside the Big Boss house which gave him great fame and recognition as his fan following grew manifolds. It would be really shocking if Pritam walks away from the house back to radio station, as I expect him to be bombarded by acting offers in TV, if not films.
This dishy dude was away from limelight for such a long time, that he was almost erased from the memories of the masses. After failing to carve a niche for himself in Bollywood, punters had completely written off Upen. In fact, before Vikram’s I in 2015, his last film was Ranbir-Katrina’s Ajab Prem Ki Ghajab Kahani six years ago.
When all doors looked shut, Bigg Boss 8 happened to Upen, making him top the popularity charts all over again. After his second inning in Bigg Boss Halla Bol, where the model turned actor hogged the limelight, Upen soared dizzying heights of stardom, which he has to owe it to Bigg Boss. I truly believe that this reality show will give Upen more opportunities in B-town and will resurrect his dwindling career from falling into abyss.
So out of these three, who do you think will be most benefited from this season of Bigg Boss? Vote!
