Puneet Issar being the oldest contestant in the Bigg Boss house, he refused to participate in Superheroes v/s Supervillains giving out the reason of getting injured physically.
A source reveals, “After the second leg of the luxury budget task Superheroes vs. Supervillains was cancelled by Bigg Boss, the Supervillains decided to fight for Sonali’s honour and urged Bigg Boss to take some action against Diandra. Leading this movement with Praneet was the oldest contestant in the Bigg Boss house this season, Puneet. Once Bigg Boss delivered his verdict in the evening, Puneet continued to feel that it was unfair and unjust and requested for a tete-a-tete with Bigg Boss.”
Curious to know what Puneet, who had not even participated in the second leg of the task, had to say, Bigg Boss called him to confession room. While Puneet tried to raise a finger at Bigg Boss’ decision, he was also quick to explain his real reasons for staying away from the task which clearly required some physical force.
A source adds, “Puneet revealed that while he was happy to be the mastermind behind the strategies, he did not want to participate in the task because he could have injured someone gravely. He further elaborated that weighing in at around 110kgs and having a well-built body, he knew that his physical participation would have caused more damage than anything that had transpired that evening. He related it back to a previous incident in his life when he had miscalculated a situation and his physical force has proved to be near fatal for someone and how he did not want to take that risk again in his life.”
We also hear that Bigg Boss was happy with Puneet’s decision. “Puneet mentioned if he had been present on the field, he would have unintentionally physically harmed the female participants; and that would have been very inappropriate. Hearing Puneet’s logic, Bigg Boss appreciated him and told him that he would need to use his seniority to restore peace in the house, something that Puneet readily agreed to do”, concludes a source.
Clearly, being considerate will take you a long way in the Bigg Boss house and earn you oodles of respect!
